bragging rights.

shut up! i know i should be working on my thesis. but it's boring.
so instead, i will show tell you all about yesterday! for most of the day i did absolutely no school work and it was the nicest! instead i engaged in a bloody mary with my favorite young married couple and then i browsed a couple artisan markets and then i watched some madmen and then i had a feelings talk with my roommate and then i took a man out to dinner [if you live in NYC get there, now] who claims to enjoy using me for free dinner love me (i probably haven't told you that yet, but i figure i may as well start now what with it being April 25th and all; plus, we are very close: you and me). all in all, it was a glorious day! on the walk home from dinner we even saw green lawns in front of houses, in brooklyn! they were noticeable despite the speed with which we were walking. my legs might only be ONE inch long, but when they need to, they march as if they are gone with the wind.

anyway. i bought myself this in the artisan portion of the day:

it is turning my finger green, but i'll take that to mean that my finger anticipates others' envy so it is doing the work for them. my finger is smart especially in the vignette photograph form.
