i got the hiccups while eating a turkey and cheese sandwich i made. i was walking from nepali class to the computer room.
eating while walking AND hiccuping is difficult. it is also scary. picture it, ny 2009: i inhale a bite hiccup choke and expire all between 12th and 13th street. i pictured it; i stopped walking.
i will teach you nepali:

ma kerra kanne. (i eat banana)
a note i wrote to myself on the bottom of a poem written about the evil hypocrisy of the development set (ie: a development economist who wears a Rolex):
"kingdom under seige!* appflen saucen.**"
*i think (but really i just made this up) this refers to a book i want to read (i kept the misspelling for accuracy. i never know where i's and e's go)
**german for apple sauce. (i made that up years ago, and apparently sometimes write it in my notebook, or on poems.)
