Jay-phine (my roommate) and i (me) rearranged the living room furniture.

we had 4 key players to maneuver:

Sam: The old TV on his stand

Maude: The 1920's red fainting chair

Laverne: The tweed baby round chair

Hugo: The biggest, fattest overstuffed arm chair you ever did see.

Maude is showy and a little bit slutty. Laverne is understated and soft spoken. Hugo is a blow-hard and sometimes overpowers the others, but look, he has a great heart. And well, Sam isn't the greatest looking guy but that doesn't mean you shouldn't look at him. Separately they are all great players, but when combined they create an odd ambiance and a seemingly awkward dinner party.

But everything became better when we changed the theme of the dinner party from chic girly grad students to 1920's male bachelors. Now everything makes sense and the players are in their roles.
